Apply for the Fluegelman Bunnell Award

Named for technology media pioneers Andrew Fluegelman and David Bunnell, the Fluegelman Bunnell Fund awards new laptop computers to deserving Bay Area high school seniors who have graduated with excellent grades (3.5 GPA minimum) and who have been accepted into an accredited 4-year college or university. The Fluegelman Bunnell Fund is a collective action fund of Tides Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit designated by the IRS.

We are looking for Bay Area students who have overcome significant economic, social and family hardships, and who have contributed to their communities by participating in after school and/or community programs. Applications are evaluated on the basis of need and upon the excellence of the required essay questions. You can read about some of our fellows from past years.

The deadline for submission is April 30, 2019.
